Hey Fatboy, On the first 3 BSR's that I built , I did build the Bars, Man that was alot of extra work. The last 25 that I have built , I now use a BMX style Billet Neck and use bike style bars/grips and bike brake lever for the accelerator. I also use a handlebar mounted master cylinder for the HYD. Brakes . This assembly saves alot of time!!! Check out the pic of the assembly that I have for sale in the FOR SALE section of this Forum. Snakester:lush:

If your steering shaft is a 5/8 rod , you can weld a piece of 3/4 I.D. tubing to the steering shaft , then the neck will fit inside . I now build my steering shafts out of 1" tubing w/3/4" I.D. It works great and is very simple to construct. I buy a bearing ( From Tractor Supply )that the 1" shaft will slide into and it also has a cassette to hold and mount the bearing. The bike handlebars are wide and works great on these Racers.
