Here are some pics of the latest creation from OUTLAW RACING. You name it and this BSR has it. IT has a World Formula engine, electric start, NITROUS (yeah NITROUS!!) front and rear disc brakes, gel battery, mini keg gas tank, airbrushed frame, leather seat, and much more. Be sure to check out all the pics here. (http://www.outlawracing.net/gallery-wf.php)

Monkey-1,

I love the look and design of the BSR. The only complaint I have is that they never used a real bar stool.

You know, the world formula has enough balls to shove a racing kart around the track at 60+mph. Now on a much lighter vehicle with nos is plain crazy. Nice but OVERKILL Glenn

I havent finished with it yet. I have let several people ride it and I want to make some changes before I tear it down for paint. I have to fit this in between my other (paying) projects, but will finish it soon and update my site and this one too. Thanks for asking!

The Outlaw stool is very TRICK....fabrication details are very good..I have nitrous also...I have it working well but don't really know where I am in the range of setup. Mine is a wet fogger with 5psi fuel pressure on the fuel solenoid. How is your carb setup to compensate for the NOS when on or off? What jet size do you have for the nitrous?....THANKS

I'm not sure if front brakes is crazy, stupid or a little of both

How can you call a barstool racer a barstool racer if it doesn't have a real barstool on it,and the front brakes are not a good idea, who agrees? Voodoo barstool racers:smash:

Voodoo,

That question has been pondered here before. I myself think a barstool racer should have a real barstool, otherwise call it something else. The thing about building a barstool racer is getting the engine under the stool without hacking it up, or making a fake barstool to fit around the engine.

I am not knocking the outlaw stool because I think it is sharp, but then again is it really a barstool racer or something else?

Maybe there should be two categories of barstool racers? Ones with real stools and custom built stools.

Just my .02 cents...

Mike

I have been asked this question alot and since then I have started to make B.S.R 's with a real Bar Stool. We still get constant call for the Custom Built Barstool Racer also. So I guess What ever you like is cool as long as it will get you to happy hour. As far as front brakes... I would use them with that much power and speed as he get's out of that ripping machine,Just use them as you would on your Hog!

My opinoin is that a barstool racer includes a "BARSTOOL" hence the name. Everything else no matter how cool it is a really tall go kart. Thanks for the plans mike my stool will be done next time I get days off and I'll post some pics

I don't think it has to be built out of a barstool to be cool there is a wack of cool rides out there. I just think it has to be built with a barstool to be a BARSTOOL racer. But it really dosen't mater as long as you are not late for happy hour and you enjoyed the ride.

You are having a laugh !! that is one of the best engineered stools that i have seen it seems to be the old story sombody builds somthing radical and it gets knocked because of the green eyed monstor (jelousy) because you thought about it and they done it !!

WELL DONE OUTLAW !!!

does it count if the intended builder is kind of an idiot{or so my wife says} and rewelds, and sizes the mounts, and bends the stool itself a few inches to fit more power than neccessary{or so my wife says}?????????{hehe}

More power...YES, do what ever you have to fit that engine in that stool. Bend, twist, pull, hit it with a hammer.... No biggie.. The Need For Speed has a very strong appeal..

My next BSR is going to be some insane over powered beast that will go faster than a Top Fuel Car (not in the 1/4 mile) but top end, burn 2 gallons a mile in fuel and out run a police radio...

Wishful thinking never hurts...
