I got a little package today, and all I can say is..OH-MY-GOD !!!
I almost wet myself, they are so COOL, I can't even believe it.
I ordered the Burris Treaded Tires and the Pollished Douglas rims.
They look a lot bigger when you get them in your hands.
They are the Focus Point on the whole thing.

I posted a thread awile back about buying wheels-rims as a package deal.
I was worried about mounting and seating them myself.
HA, No-Problemo it was a piece of Cake. I had them all mounted before my air compressor even cycled off. I then sprayed the rims with Windex, and started filling, POP-POP-POP-POP. I was all done.

Now I have a question on what air pressure should I run in them?
It does not list it anywhere on the tire?
What do you guys run for PSI ?

10# I would keep an eye on your wear. Make sure it wears evenly. I believe Mike uses the treads. He might have a better pressure for you that he will give out.

Hey Gadget,

I run around 20psi in mine. I do not remember if there was a specific recommended pressure when I got mine, but I like 20 lbs. Nice ride at 47mph.

I run 20 lbs also and rides nice. Like Stool said also keep a eye on the wear and check pressure every so often as they will leak down over time also.:thumb:

I know this is an old post, but what size tires did you get, and where did you get them. I would like to find out what they get for a pair of 12 x 8x 6 treaded tires. The slicks throw alot of rocks up.
Thanks,
Wayfat

Hey Wayfat,

APSKarting.com has the tires. They are $67 for the rears a few bucks less for the fronts.

You will like them. I have never had a problem with rocks flying up. They do offer two compounds, I would get the harder one so there is less change of rock pickup. I do not remember what I got, I think the harder compound.

I get most of my BSR parts from Riekens Racing, good people to deal with, I run Burris treaded tires and Douglas rims;
