On my wife's little buggy I put a handlebar on it for greater control. The original levers and cables I tried were not smooth in action so I went to a bicycle shop and got a set of matching levers and cables. The cables are coated with silicone I believe and are smooth throughout the lever's range. I think total cost was around $40 for everything. Don't remember the handlebar size off hand so you might check to see if they'll fit your steering wheel.

I think he means the style that bolts to the 5/8 shaft that has the butterflys! I have seen those and made a set at one time. If I see the link for the picture again I'll post it.

If your still needing a set of these, I can help you. I made about 60 sets and sold them on ebay awhile back. I quit doing them b/c I couldn't figure out a way to make them faster. I took way to much time getting these built and I couldn't keep customers waiting like I was. I even built a jig and bought a mill to make them.
