I just brought a 6.7hp engine for my BSR. My question is. Do I just buy a Jack Shaft sprocket to put straight on my engine shaft or can I attach a TAV on here? Will I have to remove the engine shaft or attach a clutch before I add the TAV? This part is confusing me. If someone has a similar engine and has successfully added a TAV, please let me know whats going on. Im also having trouble finding a jack shaft sprocket.. Doing my head in.

Cheers

Hello, A Tav will bolt right to the four threaded holes on the block. Measure your shaft Dia. is it 3/4" or 1"? Which ever it is buy the TAV thats fits your size shaft. No jackshaft is required when you use a TAV. The TAV comes with everything you will need for the front drive system. All you will have to do is get a rear sprocket and hub to fit your rear axle. The Tav will come in either a #35 or # 41 pitch sprocket. Just get that same pitch axle sprocket and chain to match. Use a Larger # of teeth like a 54 to 70 tooth rear sprocket depending if you want more low end or speed. The larger the rear sprocket the slower you will go on top end and the smaller the faster! Hope this helps! Post some more pics as you build.:thumb:
