throttle/brake set up?

today i tried hooking up my throttle and it sucked, would anyone mind showing me how they hooked it up? i have a honda gx160.

Here is a photo of how I setup my throttle connection on my Techumseh 6.5 power sport.

I used a simple $5.00 bike cable from Walmart and drilled a hole in a screw and bolted it to the throttle arm.
