here' one for all the hard core BSR's i was thinking of putting independant suspension on the front of my BSR but haven't quit figured it out yet any suggestions. i've seen alot of the video's on here and was thinking how ruff the coming down on the front spindles could be.

I have had a few thoughts about suspensions also....they started from the original BSR designs...the ones that were a heap of scrap metal and a car starter , battery, and solenoid for a on/off throttle.....those used narrow hard rubber tires...mostly to facilitate acceleration with a on/ off switch for a throttle....and to allow the inside tire to slip ( no differential ) in the turns.....well....back then I saw a design that used a valve spring sitting on top of the spindle bosses...it allowed 1/2" or so of movement of the spindle...but it was not a suspension as you would think...it was to allow the inside rear tire to lift a little in the turns and slip....on the subject of real front suspension....do you think you would feel more stable knowing that the stool you are sitting on is not going to pitch to the outside in a turn due to the suspension moving?....It would be WAY COOL looking ( I have coil overs on my wagon ) but would need to be stiff I would think.....GOOD STUFF
