I agree, those engines are high$$$. Check out ebay, even with next day air, you won't pay that much...

My friend those prices are WAY too high.Whats your profit margin? Prices like that will discourage our hobby! Look around at some of the stools here on this site.I would double check your #s or hire a cheaper fabricator.Glenn

Good Idea Glenn,

Sorry for such a long time to reply back. I am in the middle of building a new bsr and I hope to get a chance to take it for a drive this weekend.

We could allow 6 months build time and then post all the photos and a voters poll.

So let me ask you, what can we offer up as a prize for the best in show?

Let me know your thoughts.. Maybe Steve might want to get in on this because he could sell more parts.

Maybe I can add a stool build off with our bike build off in june. Amanda can coordinate the bike build-off and I will do stools. I just need to know if there would be interest. Glenn

Ok I did talk to Steve today and we can add this to our bike build-off. I will post more on rules and such later on. Im sure he will put up cash for the top 3 like the bike but I havent a clue on how much.In June when this happens were also having some type of flea market in the parking lot. Theres also a festival in town that weekend with beer and bands!! I'll keep you all posted. Thanks Glenn
