Lmfao... for that price...

*no front brakes?

*I would´ve used better bearings...

*Simple steering? a rack and pinion wouldn´t be too bad...

*1 in axle? that definitively is not a 1.25"....1 seems so weak when even go karts bend them...

*too much chrome...

*price...

*PRICY

*PRICYYYYYYYYY

its nice though...but i´m impressed what he´s asking for...

an excellant job of detailing and an attractive package, also excellant photography in an impressive setting and it's unique alright but that doesn't make it worth what he wants for it, it's extreme case of greed and his claim of a 1000 hrs. of labor is outrageous, this was on eBay a few weeks ago and topped out at $6600. He uses cheap steering/throttle rod ends (garden tractor variety), the plastic brake lines at the master cylinder are about 3/4" away from the header, the headers are right under foot AND ears (deafening), small 1" steel axle with cheap bearing cassetes, small brake rotor and undersize rear wheels/tires. The custom headers, handlebars and wheelie bars are nice. The alum. gas tank isn't vented and it's a $175. Finn-Cool frame (nice but not custom). It would be impractical to ride and is mostly just an impressive showpiece. These engines can be had at motorcycle wreckers probably well under a $1000. I could probably build a better copy for around $3000. not counting my labor. It's meticulously clean indicating that it hasn't been used (very little scuffing on the brake rotor). His claim of a TON of custom made parts is about 1980 lbs. shy of the mark. It's nice but not THAT nice for the price.

Geeez, after looking at that engine and then looking at my Briggs Animal racing engine, mine seems entirely inadequate and I haven't even started it up yet. It's the old mine is bigger than yours trick,, LOL. I think I'll keep my eyes peeled to see what's around.

This is like using the Lombergini Mucielago to go get milk at the 7-11. But seriously, did you look at the handle bars?? 7/8" clip-ons. That is a good idea.
Just thinking.........Terry

hello, The work and detail is great on this but there is room for improvement. The 1" axle is not near big enough for the horse power it has. I like the biuld but not for 14,000.00. My top price would be around 10,000 considering that a outlaw runs 8,500.00. A lot of time and money went into it and it is nice. Just my opinion!

well, it's at 9 grand with 1 day and 14 hrs. to go. I'd be amazed if it brings the $14,800 that he wants. If he does get it I predict that you'll see more like it being built for auction. Kind of like the biker buildoffs.

well, it topped out at 9 g's with buy it now at 14,800, but it didn't meet reserve. It's now relisted only as a Buy It Now for 13,900. I give them credit for shooting for the moon, we'll see if they make it.
