Ok Im still gathering parts. I bought a 6.5 honda clone off ebay 2 years ago for this project (paid $135.00 shipped). I just bought a frame off ebay for $158.00 shipped.

I was going to build my own but for the price of this frame, It saves me a ton of time. I finished off a mini keg this weekend with my brother in law.. Going to use that for the gas tank.
Now I just need to buy some rain tires and rims$$$$
and a TAV2 etc.... Still have lots of money parts to buy. Just a little at a time. Till I get everything.
Where is a good place to buy new rain tires and rims at a fair price? Other then ebay..

And what size tires should I use front and back. I want 6" but just am not sure on the width!!?

Also is there any preference on axle size? 1" or 1 1/4"?

Im thinking about doing a Yamaha theme. Since I have a yzf600r. I think it would look cool. I looked for a yamaha barstool but could not find one. There must be a place that sells them. If I have to I have one redone like I want.

Im also thinking clip on bars.
Too many ideas!!! LOL
I guess for now ill just drink..
Heres some pictures of the frame. It just came in..

3 more pictures!
You can tell the mig welds were not done with a 110volt mig welder!
My cheap 110volt mig welder doesnt hold a candle to these welds. Makes me want to get a 220volt mig! You can tell they used gas too. No splatter..

For the time and money; this looks like a good decsion. I've talked to the builder of these frames and he seems to be a good guy and willing to help. All the engine mounting slots are there for either clutch or TAV installation. He can provide the proper spindles which have the necessary camber/castor built in to them. His idea for the brake is a drum band arrangement that connectes to a rear bearing hangar bolt and shares the same hub as the sprocket. Cheap but effective. Yes, I know, brakes can be a religious issue here. Seems the front end of these frames are somewhat specific to the builders. Depends on how much fab you want to undertake yourself, I suppose! Good Luck.
