The stock exhaust on the Tec 6.5 even looks funny.
I've never really seen a box shaped exhaust before, and i have at least a dozen unused new stock exhaust pipes hanging in my garage from projects.
So time to now also hang the mighty little powersport's tiny exhaust 'box' from the rafters.
I saw a bugle shaped exhaust for a gokart - it has a loop in it - that looked pretty cool. And then of course there is the homemade straight pipe.

What kind of shape exhaust are you making, or buying, and are you putting any restriction into it?
I'm buying a mini NOS so i'll probably want a very little restriction.

I'm maybe thinking dual header sidepipes .... oh yea thats right, i only have a single cylinder.
But i am favoring that looped bugle look, with a support attached to the barstool frame. Too sweet !!

I am not a mower engine expert..I have a little experience in building exhause and expansion chambers for 2 strokes. I understand the dimensional formula and design criteria for 2 stroke chambers. I would suggest that with the exception of top end performance for a kart application the performance gain on 4 strokes will be minimal when compared with the value of a cool looking exhaust....think about it... a fraction or a fraction of HP gain that only you may know about..vs...a way cool looking..or better yet SOUNDING exhaust...I have a 1" stainless header with stainless and carbon fiber MUZZY brand sport bike muffler cut to half length...with a SS megaphone end...the sound is a hoot....enjoy
