Anyone tried a pvc frame?

I have not and would not. Not strong enough.
Why do you want to build one from PVC?

for the lack of a welder.
um like 2in - 2.5 in pvc glued and taped (eletrical tape) at the joints
, i think , would be quite strong.

yer, just as long as you stuck to pedals and didnt put a motor in it you should be fine

Ok, I am picturing it now. An all PVC frame BSR. Who is going to be the first to attempt this and second, who will the the first to build one with a Harley Engine. :laughing:
I am crazy, but I think I will sit this one out because my PVC knowledge is just enough to build a potato cannon. :smash:

I havnt seen pvc bsr but the harley engine has been done. I have a pic but forget where i got it from.

I havnt seen pvc bsr but the harley engine has been done. I have a pic but forget where i got it from.
The gentleman who built the harley bsr is Andy Simon. He owns Simon performance center down south near L.A. and it is a harley davidson dealer. He has access to many many toys and cool v-twins the lucky bastard LOL. Do a search for him and look at the harley powered snowmobile he built for shawn palmer. Its a 120 cubic inch S&S engine with twin turbo chargers and a 2 speed automatic lockup clutch. Looks scarier than hell to me but I would ride it :):lush:
