Hi everyone, I have been impressed with all the bsr's that have been built and have enjoyed looking and getting ideas from them. I bought Mike's plans and have started building mine, hope it will turn out just as good. I puchased a horizontal band saw to cut the metal tube and it is much better than the the cut off saw for cutting the angles and such. Im looking for a better barstool with the right clearance for my torkaverter, Mike told me where I can get one. Here are some build pictures so far.

Hey rooster . I like the barstool. i didn't go for the tall stool. But finding it hard to get a short one that will fit my motor. Great work. Can't wait to see it run.

Warpaint,
When I first built my BSR, I also tried a 26" short stool and I was not able to fit my motor. I think unless you find a real wide short stool or cut it up, your are going to have problems fitting any decent size engine under one.
I do like the look of the short stool...

This is another bsr that I started about a year and a half ago, a project I still need to finish. This is the same barstool that is in my other pictures, the stool was 30" tall and I cut 6" out of each leg between the seat and the ring
I put a piece of pipe inside and pop rivited them back together thus making a shorter stool. I think I might have to run a torkaverter because of the size of the back rims and tires they are golf cart wheels. When finished the frame will be green also.
Hope you all like it tell me what you think!!!

Hey Redrooster,
I liked your idea about shorting the barstool height. That is a great way to retain the width at the bottom and have a short stool.
I might have to give it a try sometime.
Thanks for the idea!

Your stool looks great man, keep the pics coming. I do not have any plans to build the wagon. I just bought what I needed and built around them.

Hi everyone..... I just received my rims and tires today, now i need to put air in them and bead them up..... the tires are the same ones that Mike Bean is running on his bsr except my rims are van k....American Power Sports was out of the 6 X 9 Douglas rims for the rear. I think these tires look great!!
Mike Bean, how many pounds of air should I run in these? What are you runnng?

Hey Redrooter,
You are going to love the tires. As for air pressure I believe I ended up using 40 - 60 PSI to seat them. I also put some WD40 on the rims and tires to help the beads slip.
You might not get as lucky as I was to seat the beads easily. Our member Fatdog, just mounted his tires and there is a lot of information in the thread below for monting your tires.
