TAV 2 question

got a Honda GX200 6.5 HP clone and trying to mount it and Torq-a-verter on the frame I got. I have to rotate the TAV2 down to clear the 45 degree head. Now I have to raise the motor up 1 3/4" to clear the tilted TAV unit. Anybody run into this problem?

yes i ran into this too. I even had to shave one of the back gussets on the tav just to get it too sit flat. I am using kart style mount so its raised up 1/2 to 1 inch and the frame rails are 1 1/8 tube so it wont hit the ground .

Yeah I had to grind one of the strengthen ribs too on the back of da Tav2. And had to grind the flat grip off the plastic screw-in cap on the second oil fill hole. Why it has two oil fills beats me, so I figure it ain't needed (the rear one).

I also just bought a Max-Torque clutch on ebay and will try that first instead of moving motor over and up to clear the Tav2.
