Hey Moto,
What do you use the garden tractor for? Looks cool. It is a cruiser or an actual work horse?

This Tractor is used for competetion Pulling, It pulls a weighted transfer sled down a straight dirt track. The way I have it set up with gearing it will only top out at 105 MPH. It gets kind of scary at that speed. I mainly use either 1st or 2nd gear to pull depending on the track condition. It pulls the sled that wieghs 8,500 lbs when topped out at around 15 mph. The wheelie bars of course are not just for looks. Thanks for the interest! I will Post a picture of it pulling. Here is a Photo of it at work!

The Drive line is made of Industrial # 50 Double roller chain and sprockets turning a 2" solid axle! 26 X 12 X 12 Bit bull Pulling tires, Douglas Rims. It has a mid shaft reduction on it to get it geared real low!! The whole thing wieghs 1300 lbs with me on it!

People ask me that question all the time about cutting thier yard. I tell them you only have to cut it one time with this tractor! It cuts the roots!! No grass or roots after it gets done with it! I built this thing from the ground up. I had no plans or any help with it. I had only seen one, one time at my shop. The first 2 pulls I worked out the bugs, Gearing, Chain and sprocket mods. I snapped 2 # 60 drive chains then put on the Double Roller # 50 Industrial chain and sprockets. Then never lost another pull that year. Even with the problems the first 2 pulls I had taken 2nd place on my first pull and 3rd on my 2 pull. I finished out that year with 11-1st, 1- 2nd, and 1 3rd place finish. My rooky year at that. ONE BAD ASS TRACTOR!! LOL:hot: The Back axle was held on by 4 pillow block bearings. Had hyd disc brake on rear only.

I did not take any pictures of it as I was building it! I wish I had now!! The overall length of it is 10'. The rear tire width is 5' on the money. The engine came out of a 1992 Honda CBR600R Crotch Rocket. I built the engine with Wisco 12:1 Compression Pistons, Carlo Rods, Polished and ported Head, Three angle valve job, I had Hilborn build a set of Fuel injection Throttle bodies to run Alky, Put a Moon Cool can on, put Barnet Race Clutch in it, Put a Dyna 3000 Ignition system in it With advance and retard curves. Lots of Time, blood, sweat and tears in it!! LOL The Frame was built out of 2" X 5" X 1/8" and 2" X 4" X 1/8" Rectangle Tubing. Was a lot of fun to build but a lot funnier to compete and win with.. You should have seen all the looks and people gathering around it at the gas stations I stopped at. A Guy almost caused a wreck one time by pulling up beside the trailer as we were going down the road and was looking at it and did not see a car comming!! LOL:dizzy: I won several trophies at car and bike shows with it!! I will see if I can post some more pics of it. Later:blue_blob:

That´s one baddass tractor!!
Congratulations on your victories...
I suppose you´re running a reduction in that beast...
What´s the relationship?
Could you take some pics of the drive system please?

Yes it has reduction. I am running a mid shaft assembly. It has a 15 tooth countershaft sprocket on engine that goes back to a 47 tooth midshaft down to a 12 tooth midshaft to a 80 tooth rear axle sprocket! It has spring loaded front and rear chain tensioner to keep the slack out of chains! When your pulling with it you shift your wieght to the oppisite rear wheel of direction you want it to go to steer it! If you want to go left transfer your wieght to the right and to go right transfer your wieght to left! With the solid rear axle and the front end just touching the ground due to the wieght your pulling the steering is useless. Its like your BSR with a solid axle it helps to transfer your wieght in the same manner to help steer it. Just dont do it to aggressively! LOL:rofl: I will get pics for it and post soon!

Yeah....I imagined you have some sofisticated steering mechanism....
do you shift between gears when pulling?
Cool, waiting for pics :D

If you want to go left transfer your wieght to the right and to go right transfer your wieght to left!
