instead of buying hubs online for like 40$ im thinking of going to harbor freight and getting the wheel and hub together. but the bore of the wheel bearing is only 5/8 and all axels are 3/4. are people who run these type of wheel just modify their axels from 3/4 to 5/8 to run this?

5/8" sounds kind of small for the rear axle. You might run into some problems and I would not want an axle to break at speed.

For safety, I would spend a little extra and do it right then ending up in the hospital... Saving money is great, but don't skimp on certain parts especially in your drive train. One failure can me a nasty wreck.

You can purchase a 3/4 x 1-3/8 bearing. That is what we run on the front of our parade cars. Kind of hard to find and more expensive than the 5/8 so you need to check with commercial distributors for them. Still not sure how you'll drive them on the rear though.

The HarborFreight wheels have bearings in them, so you would have to find some way to fix them to the live axle. Otherwise you will have only one-wheel drive, correct?
