o.k., someone has gone and done it, put a chevy small block under a barstool seat !!! who's gonna be first with a rat or a hemi ??? ,, lol !! sure wouldn't want a HOT seat if there were a carb backFIRE,,, ooowww !!

hhhhmmmmm,, wonder how it's hooked up to the rear axle or even if it's actually functional ??

You know I was thinking about the same thing. The only problem was getting the engine hooked to the rear axle. He must be using some special rear end from some piece of farm equipment or something.

Only problem I see is that to transport it around, it is very heavy and I wonder how well it goes around corners and if you can ride a wheelie.

Other than that...Nice Work! I will have to build one with a 540 Blown on Alky and I mount the barstool seat on the scoop.

yeh, I'm wonderin' how it's hooked up too, apparently hasn't run it yet, rear tires still look like new and yes, it looks well built too. the heavy V8 engine would keep it grounded pretty well, safety concerned that the seat is only secured to the carb filter holddown bolt that's 3/16" or 1/4" at best. I think that the Honda 600cc bike engine in that showpiece bsr that was on eBay is a much more practical setup, at least it's chain drive to start with. an aircooled car engine (Corvair 6 or Porsche or VW opposed cylinders) sure would simplify cooling requirements. a Ford 4.6 modular engine would be wild with the wide valve covers or how about the Buick all aluminum V8 engine. nice to see that someone has blazed a trail by building the first one that I know of.

It has to be a real attention getter!...I used a 13 hp Clone on the John Deere Racer and it had so much torque that all it wanted to do was wheelies....Even w/a 28 tooth rear sprocket we can't keep the front on the ground...When 5 hp is enough why use anything bigger? Snakester

OW, a little pricey !! apparently a few have been sold as I've seen them in several colors. Still have no idea how the drivetrain is hooked up.

It has top speed of 25mph at 5000 rpm. It must be a blast to hit the throttle. But I know we can all go faster than that. That is for the man that has everything. Still looks like fun.
