After many beers and many hours, I finally finished the final assembly of my new design the Classic Cruiser for 2006.
The sunlight was going down, but I manage to get in a quick shot and made some enhancements with Adobe Photoshop.
For those interested, I will be releasing a set of plans for this design sometime this week.

Tk20fan,
When I designed this BSR, my main idea was to keep it simple. Build a strong frame with a cool look and make it simple to build. All angles are 45 deg. or less. If I remember correctly there are only 4 or 5 different angles to cut .
The front end I did a redesign of the steering column and fabricated a bushing that inserts in the steering column to eliminate all vibration noise and give the steering a nice tight feel. Also in the steering column design, I created steering column mounts which will allow the complete removal of the steering column and steering wheel assembly for easy transport in vehicles with a low ceiling.
I was very impressed the first time I took it out for a drive. It handles very smooth and drives excellent.

Hey Woodchuck,
The throttle and brake controls are actually from one of thoes stand up scooters. We wanted something different than the twist grips.

I wanted to say thanks for all the compliments on the new design. Sometimes you don't know if you did good until you hear it from others.
I felt myself the design was good, but hearing it from others let's me know I was on the right track for this build.
Thanks Again!

Hey Faber,
When I look at your BSR, it looks like it wants to fly. Maybe some name pertaining to speed, flight I dunno. It is very stealth or sleek looking.
Just some thoughts for a name...
