Well except for the gas tank I got my BSR done. The tank in the pictures is a temporary tank that I rigged up so I could ride it this weekend. Here's some pictures..

Thanks, actually the engine is just one of the 6.5 HP Honda clones from Harbor Freight. I just took off the gas tank and the muffler to make room to put it under the stool. Does the muffler I made look familiar?
Yes there are some springs on the front spindles. The spindles brackets are extended in length to accomodate the springs. I think they are made by Monaco for some of their heaver go karts.

When it's not running can you mix up a Martini or Two.
Looks like a sweet ride. How does it turn with the smaller tires?

HE HE HE!
Yah JFCIII, I made a couple of martinis (or six) before I made the muffler. :thumb: I have got a beer keg for the gas tank but WarPaint mentioned that I should make a muffler that looks like a smoker, since I plan on using the BSR primarilly at barbeque cook-offs. Still looking at both....
Well, the tires are actually 12" tires on 7" rims... 10 bucks a peice at Harbor Freight. After getting it together on Saturday and riding it about 6 miles since, those cheap tires from Harbor are about without nobs. When I bought them it said that they were "not for highway use". I just figured that they were not high speed rated, but hindsight being twenty-twenty, I realize that the rubber on those 4 ply tires is not for road use. I need to find some replacement tires to fit those rims. As far as turning, I made a pitman are that is quit a bit longer than normal so I could turn quite a bit tighter. I can almost turn around in my driveway.

Looks real nice. I like the quick couplings holding the stool on! Makes motor work easy. :thumb: Heff

Looks excellent....great job.......
Question....how did you get from 5/8" steering shaft to 1-1/8" handlebar stem?.......been wracking my brains how to add the additonal 1/4" all the way around

RCDD,
Actually, the bibycle stem is for a 7/8" shaft rather than some that are 1 1/8". Not hard to find since it is a standard size. I got some locking rings from McMasterCarr.com that were 5/8" ID and and 7/8" OD with set screws. I simply put three of them stacked on the steering shaft and the handlebar stem fit it perfectly. The locking rings are not much money at all... like $3 and chance a piece.
