Hey Red,

It looks like it may work. I would call ask ask them what is the thickest brake disc you can fit with it. Also, there is going to be a weight difference for stopping power, that might be the only problem you may have.

If a standard brake disc will fit in between the pads, you might have a great idea.

Let us know how it works if you decide to go with it.

looks great! i would worry about the length of the line. 51" seems long but it really isn't. for mine i needed 62" to get to the rear. but you could always get new fittings and hose from Aeroquip.

I just purchased one of these brake systems off ebay. My hose is 59" long though. It was new and I only paid $12.99 plus $10 shipping. It looks like it is going to work good, although I have not installed it yet. The seller was mattyb343. I checked and he does not have anymore listed as of today.

I'm with Mike. the stopping power might not be ther for these machings. But if it works out we just make a powerful advancement in the Barstool Racers! Let us know how it works!:thumb:

I dont see where stopping power should be a concern. If it will stop a 90cc atv It should surely lockup the rear wheels on a barstool. Furthermore, the hydraulic pressure should be greater than a cable. Seems like you loose alot of energy in a cable. Someone posted on the other thread on this, pics of a bicycle caliper they used. He said it would lock up the rear wheels. My only concern is I may lockup the rear wheels to quick.

Just got the brake on saturday and its great.....verry smooth and if you need to lock them up no problem doing that...so its the way to go... watch ebay for a atv or motorcycle brake setup...work perfect...
