Barstool Height

So i'm trying to decide on a 24" or a 30" barstool. I know 30" is more common on them but I would like some input on what size you have and whether or not you like that height.

I went with a 30" stool, but wound up cutting about 4" off the legs to make it look more proportional.

I used 30, and its just fine, it really isn't that tippy unless your trying.

Go for the shorter. Ill be cutting mine down to help keep my ass on the seat. The lower the center of gravity the better. Also will agree it does help with proportions. Just my .02

im gunna be building mine pretty low.. so that i can fly around corners and not really need to worry about tipping it,,,
