cost of steel?

What is everyone paying for 1x1x1/8 square steel tube?
Just trying to get a feel for what the metal is going to cost me, and make sure I am not getting taken for a ride.

I payed $1 per foot from a large steel supplier ( Alro steel- Michigan ). They come in 24 ft. lengths so take a sawzall with ya. Heff

8ft chunks at the place i am going to. I went to get some, but they wouldnt cut it down for me, so I couldnt get it in the car. I will have to bring the trailer or get a buddy to let me use his Explorer.

I paid 40 bucks for 48 feet of it, tons extra, but i got 24 feet for the price of them cutting it into 8 foot sections.
