hi everybody,im wondering how many of you are balancing your tires and how many of you are not. does it really give you a lot more smoother ride?

Well I'm a kart mechanic and I learned from a Goodyear tire guy that a tire running speeds of over 35mph starts to bounce, for the few dollars it costs for sticky weights balance them it can't hurt.

Hey by the way I was looking over the Predator and was thinking that it would make a great Champ kart, care to do a proto type to test on pavement this year?

Were gonna wait til after Kartfest before doing anything. Rught now Im friggin burried. Id love to get one going but I cant ake all the desisions. Glenn

Go to your local tire store and ask them if the sell Equal. What this stuff is is a real coarse powder that you put inside the tire. As the tire starts to rotate the Equal will automatically balance the tire. Ive used it in my buisness (fleet service) for years and never had 1 complaint about a tire being out of balance. My son races go karts on dirt and every tire we have has it in it. Just a suggestion

I balance all my tires with the sticky weights. I made a balancer with an old bub and a shaft and just put the weights on the inside of the wheel and PRESTO. Makes a a lot of difference
