Private Message Spams

I wanted to say thanks to the members that reported a member that was sending spam to the members using our private message system

We have disabled this feature from those people and if anyone else gets any spam message to their PM box after today, please send me a message. Be sure to include the name of the member and if you can forward me a copy of the post for review.

Hi Heff,

The members that notified me said it was from the same person. That member is gone now and adjustments have been made to help prevent that again.

His account has been banned and we made some adjustments to the site to help prevent this in the future.

This is nothing. You should have seen it about a year ago. We finally got the site tuned to keep the bots out from spamming and that cut 99% of the junk out. Now we have to deal with the occasional real person registering and PM others with their junk.
