I was at the store (HF) the other day and they had them on sale for $5.
I have them om kids go kart and they didnt last a season. Rubber wore down quick and the bearings puked. You can use them if your budget sez so but you get what you pay for.

i see..... im not adverse to having to replace them as cheap as they are, but wouldnt mind spending a little more. what i need is a tire i can use off road, and i would like to keep it under say $30-40 each. any suggestions?

how do i go about mounting the sprocket to one of those type tires? i was looking at them today, but didnt wanna get em till i checked my replies here. thing was ti didnt really look like there was a way to mount one. would i have to weld it?....kinda hate to do that if they wear out much. all ive really ever welded was exhaust systems and such,so this is new to me...looks like most ppl get a tire that mounts on hubs....

if they have a 4 bolt hub with the bearings in, you can probably buy an extended hub that bolts on the wheel, and then a sprocket bolts on to the hub. Hope these pics help.
Most people use a live axle. the wheels are mounted solid to the axle with a hub and keyway, and there is a seperate hub and keyed hub with the sprocket on it. i don't have any pics handy.
hope this helps.

I was going to also agree with everyone also, I had the $5 wheel and tire combos on my first stool. They worked great when the stool wasnt running and just sitting the garage.....other than that they suck, very easy blowouts. Would prob be great for trailers and such.
