Hello fello racers, I currently have jumped in with both feet. I have 2 racers going together for my father and I. One prostreet and one modified classic. Both with 6.5hp engines. As with most, my wife thinks I am crazy!

I will post some photos when the sparks stop flying!

My wife thought I was crazy as well, but then I showed her pics and videos of what they are and now she wants one too!

That seems to be the case with all my other motor sport hobbies, why not this one as well. The video you have posted, what size engine is that? I am trying to get a feel for what to expect from the 6.5hp.

My wife is supportive of my hobbies, but that is about as far as it goes. I don't expect to see her on one of these any time soon.

Mine has a 3.5 HP Honda with no mods. It has a standard $60 clutch(12 tooth) and a 72 tooth rear sprocket. It really lacks take off power but tops out pretty well. I need a TAV on it. Waiting for mudbogger (KEN) to get his free one installed on his 3.5 to see how it works. Heff

Where abouts in Ortonville? Is that your orange Camaro? It looks firmilure. I have a black 72 prostreet Chevy pickup. If you ever went to the Ortonville car show, you saw it. I live in the Hillcrest Farms sub. Just outside of the county line.

I haven't figured the whole picture attachment thing yet. Some engineer...

Im on Seymour lk rd a few doors west of Cooks dairy. The orange camaro is not mine but I do have a 71 camaro that is in pieces in the garage. I'll never get it done because I keep building these crazy motorized toys.:eek2:

Hey Ken, I thought it would bolt right up. Is it a TAV 2??There is a smaller one that uses the #35 chain.... I assumed it was a 3/4" shaft. Anyway a bushing should work. Heff

my friends have 6.5 techumses on theres.. they pull pretty good..

nothing compared to the 9hp we have on ours!! it need to be re geard tho.. topped out at about 50KM/H at about.. 6000-6500RPM!!

but in the rain.on a wet road.. tof you giver from a dead stop youll spin for a good 30feet!! but its fun.. just driftin around on the road! and im curious to know why the tires are almost balld!
