hey Heff, I gt the tav set up, I had to make a bushing to reduce from 1" to 5/8", it works ok after setting up the correct tension on the belt, I used a jack shaft as the was the type of tav without a backing plate. I used a 15t to a 60t and to my supprise it will pull a wheely without even trying....... Here are a couple of pics of the set up, I still need ot clean things up and repaint.

You won't regrete it.....I thought it might bring up the power just a bit but even with the 3 1/2hp it's like night and day. Lets just say im glad i installed the wheely bar :thumb: I wasnt going to work on mine untill the first of the year but you know how it is going to the shop and seeing those parts just setting there....lol

Ken,
I know this is an old post but I am putting together my first BSR and have a 3 1/2 with a 5/8 shaft also. I have searched all over for a bushing reducer for the shaft with no luck. I see you were able to fab one up and I do not have the capabilites to do this myself, any suggestions or could you put together one for me for a little fee?
Thank you and great postings for information!! You are a pro at this stuff..

I had to get a machine shop to custom fab one for me, luckly i knew him so it didnt cost anything, i had it made to fit a 5/8 id to a 3/4 od with the key way on both sides.
