When you set up your rear axles, do you make 1 wheel the drive wheel and let the other free wheel or make both wheels drive wheels? If you use both wheels, does this cause a push going into the turns?

Hey 89astro,
I believe most people go with the 1" axle and run it live (both wheels drive).
I have built a few BSR's and always run a live axle and it is not that big of a deal when turning. You will notice a little push when turning at slow speeds, but I was always able to turn on a dime with mine. If you turning sharp, keep it slow and it will be fine. And if you are not on pavement or a sidewalk, you will not really notice it at all.
If you want to ride wheelies, or ride on your side, I would recommend going with the live axle.

to help reduce "push" tilt the front axel back about 10*You have 10* of camber on your bsr? Is that what your saying?

He is. 10* of caster.
Which I didn't do on mine and it doesn't seem to be much of an issue. Although I've only ridden it on gravel where push wouldn't really be an issue. Except under power.
My step-daughter just about smacked it into the son-in-law's truck when she grabbed a little throttle. It doesn't steer under power worth a damn.
Two factors lead to that I think.
1. The live axle.
2. Too much power and the front end unloads making the push problem worse.
You need to get off the throttle and shift the weight onto the front tire to turn.

you can allways use a rear diff, and never have a prob;em turning.
