you bet it would. I bought my bar stool and built the frame from there after getting the measurements. thats what everyone is using, unless the build their own. good luck on the build.

I don't see why not I think all those style barstools have about the same demensions.

I need a shorter barstool. Mine is about 30" tall. My steering wheel is at seat height. I don't really want to add a longer steering shaft due to flex. Would like to have about 20" or so without having to cut and weld the one that I have now. Any ideas/suggestions?

The Summit one says it "Swivels", is that a concern?

Acutally, I found a very talented welder locally who removed 6" from the height of the stool and did so where it's nearly undetectable.
In regard to a barstool swiveling, I would say yes, that it is a problem.

as far as the swivel part goes, i just leave the swivel part off, put the seat where i want it, and screw through the frame where the swivel was supposed to mount, and up into the seat. piece of cake.
