Anyone ever built a trailer to tow behind their BSR? I'm wanting to build one to tow a small pocket bike in an upcoming parade... I would think someone here has built one to tow a cooler; just looking for ideas.

I too am planning the same deal. Although I'm a pretty good fabricator I thought it might be cool to buy a cheap hand truck and go from there. What the hell..............instant frame wheels and axle. Harbor frieght here we come:laughing:

I was sthinking about that, but have some 1" angle that should make a good frame that's light yet strong enough for what I need. Probably use a stained 3/4" plywood floor, with eye bolts monted for tie downs... When not towing the pocket bike, it would be a great place to put a 54 quart cooler!

Check out St. Vincent Depaul stores. Here in Tacoma they have bed frame angle for next to nothing.:cool_dude:

Here's where I'm at so far with the trailer. It's mocked up and tacked together. There is some flex/ twist in the frame that I hope will go away once the final welds are done and the bed is bolted down... When complete, I think it will be pretty cool.

While you are planning you might what to add a barstool or two to the trailer, but guess then you would have to add two more tires. It would be cool to have a flatbed trailer that could be used to carry the bike and when the bike is not on the trailer snap in two stools and carry two more friends.

In reply to fudd...be careful when using bedrail for loads....they are tempered and snap like candy after they're welded....might save you some grief

I was at a tool sale the other day and they had a small trailer that would go great behind a stool. The company goes by Cummins Tools. They take a trailer load of stuff, unload samples, you pay and pick up at the trailer door. Chinese stuff mainly. Name brand power tools are reconditioned. Some house branded tools. The trailer is not on their website. At least I could not find it. Web site www.toolsnow.com (http://www.toolsnow.com). The trailer is about a foot square with red slat sides. With drawbar.
