That depends on so many things. I had a Honda motor from an edger so I didn`t need a motor. I think I got about $600 into mine....give or take, most likely give, Ha Ha. I`ve got $350 into tires and wheels alone( Burris grooved rain tires with Van K polished alum. wheels). Shop around, Have fun. Heff

yesterday. Pretty much first cabin and I'm into it $1000. Cheap intertainment IMHO.

ive got about 650 in mine but i didnt have to buy an engine. My main expenses were tav 2 ($130) and tires (used set for $150). I think im going to upgrade to hydraulic brakes though (~$120). i bet i will have alittle over 800 in mine.
If you shop around and build a fairly simple one, you could do it under 500 and still get pretty solid results.

Whew I added up, and tried to add everything. I am looking at making maybe one to two a year for some people, and trying to get costs. Ended up about 1400, but tried to ad in everything, bolts, misc, and the hard stuff. I have a honda clone, TAV2, robertson header and muffler, which is cool as all get out, will see in the pics to come. Douglas wheels, dunlop tires, diamond plate alum, anodized handlebars. I found a lot of closeout parts, and shopped. But still more than I thought. But when you are building something for you, you know what you want, and nothing short will do.

I gave up adding up the bills. I just spent 300 for a motor mount plate (custom built). Nice job, just still hurts.
