Ok;

I went for my first ride this afternoon. Holy S*!@!!!! I will be leaving the engine alone for a while. Much faster than I expected. I guess I should have mentioned that I couldn't get the brakes to bleed correctly. This most definetly added to the terror. I wouldn't recommend doing this.

So, how do you get the brakes to grab at the top of the lever stroke? I bleed the air from the lines individually, the brake feel got firmer, but still dose not have enough pressure to clamp down on the disc. What do I do to cure this problem?

Are you using the MCP hydraulic brake setup? If so, I recommend calling them because there is a trick to bleeding them that works great and you will have excellent stopping power.

I would post it here, but I forget the exact way to do it now.

We have brakes now. The trick was the pad adjustment screws on the side of the calliper. :thumb:

Hey your still around!

A bad thing happened, I got used to the stock speed. So, I went and visited Russ at NR Racing. Long and short, Stage 2. This thing sounds mean thru the dual exhaust!! I sware this thing sounds like a Harley. I'm back to being frightened by it again though.

I am getting ready to start on #5. It has been a busy off season for me. My garage went from 2 race cars to a pile of Bar Stool Racers. With gas prices this high, I might be taking bar stools to the Woodward Cruise this year.....
