I am just about all done with setting up my barstool and I am getting ready to set up the brakes. I havent fooled around with it much but when I recieved the caliper the pads were touching. Am I supposed to loosen the bolt? Does anybody have any pics of there set up with the new floating disc set up? Thanks for your help in advance.

The company sets them together to keep them from falling out during shipping. Loosen the lock nut, and back the allen screw out a few turns. Then you will be able to move the lever arm back to the rest position.(Look for the arrow on the arm. This is the direction the arm needs to be pulled to stop the BSR) So, push the arm the other direction. By now you should be able to slide the pads apart enough to get the rotor in.
Good Luck!

I have the same set up caliper as the pic that you sent. BUT.. I don't know how to hook up the retainer to lock the cable down. I don't have those parts and my caliper looks just like yours.. There is no hold down for the cable.
