Flames or No Flames

I came across these stainless flames. I tiped them in red to match the rest of the red parts on my racer, but can't decide if I should use them or not. I thought they added some dimension to the scoop. What do you think? Should I put them on, or leave the scoop plane black?

i like the plain black.. Does the scoop help cool or anything, do you think it is adding a little more drag to it?

It probably dose direct air on to the cylinder head, but mostly it just looks cool. That engine is a 9.5HP clone. It has been highly modified with NR Racing stuff, so the weight or drag isn't really an issue. (Very Violent) It still had no problem tossing me off of it. Ouch! :dizzy:
