So I started my frame today. Its 48" long by 15" wide. I'm planning on running Dual rear drive axles, with a custom made bed for it with mounts for a cooler (painted to match the rest of it) as well as some custom made ALuminum Teardrops fenders in the back and a Trailer hitch to pull my mini Weber BBQ Custom Trailer I'm going to make. I forgot to take some pics tonight but will definitly take some tomorrow.

I had a few good pictures of the frame so far but the camera broke, so I'll try to get some better ones tonight. so far its just the base of the frame, with the footpads. It's basically a rectangle. I'm thinking John Deere Green and Yellow for the paint scheme.
BTW C.schulz, is that a '70 Camaro I see in your avatar pic? I have a 70 Chevelle my self

So today I got the Spindles mounted and the rear bumper installed. I started the finishing welds on the frame. Now I'm waiting for the bearings flangettes and the bolts. once I get those its time for axles ands hubs. :lush:

Does any one have any suggestions for a trick looking front bumper? So far I'm leaning towards just using the 1"x1 1/2" rectangle stock I have been using for a little bumper, But I want something with a little more flair to it.
And as for the Stool itself I was thinking of using one of these

or one of these

Got my Bearing Flangettes, and bolts, just waiting on the Bearings now. I also had a revalation to my design. Instead of mounting the hangers directly to the top of the frame cut out 3/4" from the top and box it out then mount the hangers there.... thus giving it a "Pro Street" rake to it :thumb: In theory this would also give me a bit of room to help with the wheelies. I was thinking of mounting carbide tips/spikes to the back of the frame so it would spark from the wheelie but now I think that the wheelie bar is a better idea.
I'm also gonna use a mini keg for the gas can and run stainless braided line with maybe some AN fittings to it to complete the hotrod look.

Stainless and AN fittings? ...Very Nice! Seems these things consume more money than one would initially think. Keep up the good work, I know the feeling of "hurrying up to wait" for parts.

I hate that feeling especially when I'm broke and have to put all my money in my gas tank cause I have come to learn Chevelles don't get the greatest mileage
