Hi guys, I need some help on what I think are directional tires. I have a brand new set of Maxxis Tires and I think that I may have put one in the wrong direction. There is a tiny arrow with a go-Kart in the middle on one side of each tire. Does anyone know if these tires are directional tires and if I accidentally put one on in the wrong direction, is this really a big deal for a barstool? (the stool is just for kicks not to race) I had a hard enough time getting them on & I would hate to have to try to take it off to flip it over.

Thanks,

From what I remember about directional tires...the arrows are supposed to point in the forward direction. You can also tell by looking at the tread pattern.

Hope that helped...

O.K. Thanks Mike,
I found a guy that deals with racing karts in my area and he helped me out with this. You are right the arrows point to the front. I wasn't sure if the tires I have were derectional tires. They are.
To all the guy having trouble getting tires on the rims, just keep the tire at a 45 degree angle then push hard and fast. You may find no need for lube. This guy that helped me said he changes about 30 sets of tire a day and has no need for lube. He's a little guy too.
Thanks Again
