Hey All: I have been looking and reading this forum for several weeks and finally figured out how to Post. I started looking into Barstool Racers after seeing one in a parade and asking a lot of questions about what it was and how you build one, etc. I ended up at this site and I think I have looked at it everyday since.
I have been looking for a means of transportation for parades. I am a shriner and belong to a very active shrine club in parades and other activities but our club does not have a central theme such as the little cars, motorcycles, etc. I looked at the factory go-carts like the cars, trucks and all others but when I saw the Barstool Racer, I knew that was what I was looking for so here I am. I am going to build one this winter and have already gotten the plans and some of the material. I will probably need some help along the way and from what I have read on this forum, everyone is eager to help a newbie.
