Well, My BSR ended up in a ditch today (yes.... I faceplanted:cussing: and now I have a few problems. Is it possible to bend a rim? I have a bad left to right wobble in my front tire that wasnt there. Seems like nothing is broke, but maybe I am missing something? Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Yes, it is possible to bend a rim. But, you will need to check the tie rod, tie rod ends, the spindle and spindle brackets also. Most any of these can have the effect on the steering you are describing. Hope your O.K. from the faceplant........it's never fun! Hope this helps.

hahah i face planted last weekend and totaled my front end also. sitting on a bar stool and wrecking is like sitting in a catapult lol. I was thrown about 12 feet from the stool. But i would check the 3 bolts holding the rim to the hub. They may have slipped or became loose and the wreck moved it back off the hub. Gook Luck

Yep, faceplanting sucks. I got some new rims and also found out that I had bolts in the hub that were toooo small for the holes. Who knew you had to thread the bolts thru the hub. Now just to get the geometry back to normal.
