View Full Version : HELP PLEASE!! finn kool is out and i need an air filter adapter

i called finn kool last night to get one of the right angle machined airfilter adapter. this is the only thing stoping me from finishing the bsr. it runs like crap after i decided to grind the plastic off of the honda clone. here is the link for the adapter im looking for or something that would elimate the distance between the carb and back right stool leg

Hey what ever happen with this thread?? I went ahead and made my own out of some 1" tube that I had. But I think 1.250" tube would work better.

He never called back after the year was up. Is there anyway you could get me the plans for that or did you just mock up and weld? looks good! and may be just what im looking for!! i hate pulling off the carb to clean out the jet everytime i ride! that sux

It was just a mock up and weld. The base for the filter was bought but the rest was just fabbed metal.

are those the original lugs running through the carb?

Yes, I did crush the tube a bit to make it oval.

Afforable Go Karts has an excellent solution as well which is what I'm going to use. At least as soon as I confirm it will work with the stock carb. I don't want to change carbs.
