Hi Everyone, i have a few questions about my gear selection. i have a tecumseh 6 hp motor. i wanna get a comet tav2 but dont know whether to get the 10 tooth or 12 tooth sprocket. i will be running ethier 13in or 15in tall tires.i am wondering wut size rear sprockt on the axle i should run. also wut size chain size should i run. i have seen 35 or 41. what do u guys think. i am looking for more low end torque. i am also a fairly big guy at 240 pounds so i want some low end power and dont really need to go very fast with it. 35 tops. also does chain length matter. Does anyone have any suggestions for wheels and tires. i want a dirt tire as i want traction in the dirt. thanks in advance for your help

Check out that link for your comet. Use the 41 chain for sure. I use a 54 tooth sprocket on my rear but i also use the kart tires and rims wich are about 11 inches tall. You can get them used on e-bay. I am about 6'2" and weigh about 225 and mine has an 11 hp motor and it will sling me off if Im not careful so size doesnt really matter.
