How many of you rattle can the frame? I'm planning on rattle canning my frame for now. Im still designing it as i go. Then when it is done and all dialed in, ill take it back apart and use automotive paint.

Hey Stang. I spray canned mine. But I used a good quality auto type spray paint. I also have some links to a company that makes candy apple and pearl paints in a special type of spray can. Trouble is, they are about $35.00 per can. But, when I make the final changes on mine, this is what I am going to use. ww.alsacorp.com/killercans.htm Give this a look .

I used a couple cans of competition orange from Krylon on mine. It came out really good. Heff

Have you thought about having the frame Powder Coated...I had a frame cleaned and coated for $80.00...It looks great and after 2 years and much abuse it still looks like new...I am getting ready to build a mini chopper and will have the frame coated . I have painted several Bar Stools with a spray gun , but have seen many painted with rattle cans and can look really good with a little extra care taken!!!:cool_dude: Snakester

I used Duplicolor high temp engine coating, it is pretty tought but still has a nick or two in it.

yea i sprayed mine and was wondering how much it would cost thanks ill get mine powder coated black when im done i have a red and black theme on mine
