Why are you selling it? It's seems like the price is almost too low for the quality

Guys I have seen this piece in person and it is as nice and better than the pictures show. From the message I know he has another that is finished and this was built for a customer that backed out on him.
Guys I highly suggest if you have the means you should jump on this if not just for the part alone. What a deal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Bud;

I origialy had this racer listed for $2200.00 complete. In it's current state, I am afraid that $1300.00 is the bottom line. I am planning to pull my ad this week and finish it. Than I will relist it for the full price again. This racer is worth every penny I am asking for it. I have countless hours into it. As of Wed. of this week, the posting will be removed from the site.

How long will it take to finish this ride? Can a person of average mechanical skills finish the Scoop and wing work?

I think so. There is no welding to be done. Typically that is what makes people shy away from these things. What needs to be done to it is;

Install the Torq-A-Verter
Bleed the brake system
Paint the wheelie bars
Install a gas line
Connect the throttle cable.
Adjust the jetting on the carb.
Adjust the idle speed.
Install the chain.
Polish the rear wing
Finish the air scoop.The air scoop is not required for the barstool racer to function at all. You could skip it all together if you choose to. The wings are done, the rear simply needs to be wet sanded and polished to a shine.

For the most part, I think anyone could handle putting the rest together, with the exception of the air scoop. I'll complete the whole thing including the painting of the air scoop for $1800.00

When the blue stool returns from final assembly, it is going to be hard for you to decide whether you want the black or the blue. That multi step paint looks eye popping with the blue. Especially now since the air scoop will very visible. The paint is that $300.00 a gallon stuff.
