Hi, have started my first barstool build, and have started to collect some parts. Got a set of rims from a friend but not sure what size of tires to buy.
Front: 6" diameter x 7" width x 3" back space
Rear: 6" diameter x9" width x 4" back space
Thx

I am not sure if you got the plans from Barstool Racer Supply, if so, there are part numbers and descriptions in there.
There are also posts in this forum of my rims and tires I used along with part numbers for ApsKarting.com. I would post them now, but I do not know them off the top of my head.

Have your plans but i´m not sure what size tires will fit the rims. Will a set of 12X8.00-6 fits the rims i got for the rear ?

Hey Caddy, I always go by the same rule on my Barstools as I do on my Racing Karts...The front tires and wheels are the same width...The rear wheels should be 1" wider than the tire...Of course, if you can get a great deal on wheels and tires , you can vary different sizes...I have used wheels on the rear that are 2" --21/2" wider than the tire...It will not hurt to run wider tires on the front either....I think it looks really cool on these racers to stretch out the tires . I really don't worry to much about the compound of the tires on these Stools...They won't get the hard abuse that Racing Karts do!:cool_dude: Snakester
