Looking for a close up pic of steering shaft tie-rod connection. trying to figure out the best way to hook it up. i bought a complete steering kit.

How do you properly hook the tie rods to the steering shaft?

The pitman arm is welded to the steering shaft and then the tie rods are bolted to the pitman arm. I can get a pic posted when I get home if that would help?? Heff

My kit came with 2 pitman arms, do i use both? 1 high and 1 lower?
they should be welded so they point either forward or towards the rear correct?

One is all you need. But you do want the pitman arm pointing in the same direction as the spindle connections.
