need axle help!

hi i was wondering if you have to have a certain type of wheel to use snap ringed axles.if you dont can somebody tell me how to install one. thanks:cheers:

The snap ring is used in case the wheel hub comes lose it will not slide off past the end of the axle.

No special wheels, just a special axle.
