for you entrepeneurs out there, how about making wheel hub adapters to go from 3 bolt gokart wheels to a 4 on 4" bolt design so 8/10" wheels and turf tire/slicks can be used. I may have a friend make me a set for my next bsr as I'm thinking of using 16x6.50x8 and 18x9.50x8 Carlisle turf master tires, so far only found a 7" wide rim in ITP Advantage that I like, may have to go with the Douglas' to get 7's and 9's that I want. Also spent time thinking of 2.50x10" Douglas spindle mounts on front (as used on my pullers) with 18x10.50x10 Carlisle smoothies/slicks on the rear to look like a drag racer with wheelie bars also. decisions, decisions !! just about to buy a 9/10 hp ohv engine with a 1" shaft and electric starter and use a Bully built 3 disc 1" clutch. may also go with an 1 3/8" axle to make it heavy duty.

eBay is a good source for new and used parts. Just be sure to check out the seller's feedback.

Don't forget we have our own Classifieds located at http://barflyracers.com/forumdisplay...ysprune=-1&f=3 Snakester just posted a frame for sale if you're interested.

And of course Mike has his stores:

Thunderbolt, try this link. They have 4 on 4" hubs for 1" and 1.25" axles. 1.25" axcle should be stout enough...

K, Thanks. I ended up buying mine from there (2 sets of 1.25"), but the link doesn't take you to the part so I haven't listed it before. I have found two different sources, both the same specs but one set has lightening holes the other are solid.
