I have been lurking on this forumfor over a year, slowly collecting all the parts. The final piece was the engine, which i got a couple of weeks before easter. Soooo, this year easter vacation was in the garage.

The stool is a Classic and the following is the parts:
Throttle grip from a pocketbike, bycycle wire, homemade lever mounted where the tank used to be.
Brake setup is a Ducati 916 handle, brake hose from ATV something, caliper & mount is Yamaha Rt 50 or XT 350 something, disk unkown, probably moped RT 50. Center of disk was machined to fit a kart hub.

Engine is a jingadong 200 clone engine, i have removed the airfilter, machined a kone filter adapter from some nylon/plastic round stock.
Exhaust is a machined 1/4" plate, machined to match the "D" shaped exhaust port, header tube bent in the tube bender and muffler a Honda bike something. TAV-2, 41 rear sprocket.
Oh, and i have removed the governor and drilled out the main jet to 0.032"
Tire and wheels, bearings and carriers, rear axle and steering links are kart items. The frame bearing carrier mount are home made.

Steering, home made spindles and steering link arms, pitman arm with 3 sets of holes, to adjust steering sensitivity. Bearings for the steering column is machined from a piece of Nylon round stock.
Two things left to do, get a bar mounted stop-button and redo a fire enghuister (sp ?) as a fueltank. Current fuel tank is just temporay.

Regards,
PerJ (From a sunny Norway)

Thanks !
At the moment it is a little "twitchy". I have been experimenting with toe-in/out, at the moment it has just a little toe-in. But i think it actually should have just a little toe-out.

When you start turn-in and shifts the weight onto the outer wheel, it sometimes jerks a little into the turn. I seems to remember that behaviour like that was caused by too much toe-in.
At least that's what i remember from the karts.

Next weekend i will probably be able to test it at a kart track, and then i should be able to ajust it properly.

Other than that it's cool, engine & clutch works nice, and the rear wheels locks up with just a slight pull at the handle.

I have ordered an even bigger main jet for the engine, we'll see if that makes the engine even stronger...
