Has anyone been on ebay to see this frame kit.

Looks ok at first till you use the shipping calculator,
told me it would be $52 to ship, sounds like a load of BS, when an engine costs 12.50 to ship. Sounds to me they want to make their money off the shipping.

That frame kit is a joke. Don't waste your time and money. As for shipping, I ship my frame kits which weigh 42 lbs from Florida to California for around $60. That kit can't weight more than 15 lbs.
And I bet you don't even get any assembly instructions tell you how to set up the frame correctly for your engine, drive train, wheels etc. I think they are just trying to make a quick buck. I don't think they sell a lot of them.
I have attached a photo of the bogus frame kit off of eBay so when the auction runs out you can see see what it was.

Yep It is a joke. But you would be surprised at how many don't check the shipping. Or even read the listing. Did anyone check out his feedback.
I spotted this "Good barstool chasis, next kit prefer picture or instructions to assemble". And they still left + feedback. Mike we got to get this site out there for all BSR fans to see. Guys the Barfly shirts are great. Last years with the text up side down on the back got more looks than any shirt I have. I can't tell you how many whispers and comments I got around town. The cool thing about it was that it read Put me back on my Barstool Racer not just Barstool like all the others you see out there. Anyway This is a great site and a lot of help to newbies like me.
Thanks.

Hey Mike,
How about a thread dedicated to point out these frame scams?
And Frames to avoid.
Just a thought.

Hey altrego30
Don't buy a frame kit. Build your own, if you need help, direction or a play by play buy one of mikes plans they are alot of help for us first timers. I say this becuase I figure if you have what it takes to weld metal together you can probably cut it too.

I built my frame from plans in my head. I was searching ebay for Ideas.
Take a look where I am so far.....
I would rather customize my oun designs that someone elses. I can get a complex as I want.....:thumb:
