Built a modified BSR , actually its a ice cooler racer,( will send pics as soon how I figure it out) . After build I noticed a major push issue, Will not turn hardly at all at low speed cant even steer around in the driveway.Have a 5 h.p. briggs mounted over 1" live axle with standard clutch with fixed hubs and 12" tires, Just not a good condition to turn.Have read about the northern tool differential axle and this that a solution to my problem ? Thanks.

I believe that is the solution to you problem !!!!!! My driveway is 12' wide and it's atleast a 2 point turn for me !!!!!!!!! Will be using the northern tools axle on my next build which has already been started !!!!!! Good luck and post them pic's when you can.

Thanks I will try differential when funds are available.I think I will have to extend the 1/4" keyway since the slot is only grooved 6" from each end so my sprocket and disc brake can be used.

The groove will have to be extended to place your wheels but not the sprocket and disc brake.
