I have put this style engine on 15 of my B.S.R and everyone seems to be happy with them:hot: I don't think they would be a very good motor to blue print though. Peace Out.-

Hello, I have used these same engines on equipment as replacements for Honda engines on generators, water pumps etc.... I have had no complaints from my customers and up to now no major problems with any of them. I also bought them from the same place you listed, Good Supplier!!! I Liked them so much that I got one for my Dual wheel bsr I am Building, Only I used a 6.5 electric start. I belive you would be happy with it!

From the looks of the engine, I would think they would fit nicely under the stool?!?!?

I have a 6Hp Tecumseh motor, this is a stupid question but how much of a difference in power do these things put out, how about speed compared to before on an average.
And it appears a regular clutch should work on one of those engines? and it appears to fit under a bar stool is that true.
Thanks

Hey Garman,
If you're looking for speed, let's not get confused with HP. HP is related to speed, but so are RPM's. The faster the engine can turn or you can turn the rear axle (gear ratio) the faster you will go.
A saying in drag racing, torque will get you off the line and HP will carry you on the top end. But you still need RPM to get some decent speed and the HP to carry it on the top end.
A larger engine will not always go faster.
Just my .02 cents...
